This is a very interesting quote. If a woman is attractive and isn't your girlfriend, then what? Do you become a ‘strictly a ‘look at the menu but don't order anything’ guy’? This is an odd quote to hear given that most people would say that they are not ‘strictly’ anything; they simply like or dislike certain things. However, this quote has some very different implications. People who like someone else but don't like them like them because of something about them; they are attracted to their physical characteristics, looks, clothes, etc.

But if someone doesn't like someone for the same reason; because of their looks or physical characteristics, then is it possible that they can still like them? Perhaps this quote means that you should not be too judgmental of someone who isn't your girlfriend, but rather give it some thought. Though if you're single and looking for someone, then perhaps 'strictly' isn't too strict at all.
